Gary Scott, an international mountain guide, world-class mountaineer, Everest climber, author, adventurer and the founder of Right Path Adventures, has been designing, organizing and leading international adventure travels trips since 1982 - a few years before he started his first guiding company in Kathmandu, Nepal. Even though Gary has been leading trips for close to three decades, his new company was started with one purpose – to combine the best aspects of all the previous experiences Gary has had with adventure travel and other businesses and to create the best adventure travel experience available – period!
Our niche at Right Path Adventures is small fun groups - hand-picked individuals who make up our “team members.” Imagine group travel where you know the group is a great one and that they will be a lot of fun. We travel in a small groups without a “groupie” feel to our trips. The trips feel more like a vacation with a group of good friends who get together for an adventure and a great time somewhere on the planet. Our trips are expertly organized and operated and we only use established local outfitters and guides that we know well to support us where ever we take our trips.
We only use a handful of guides who have proven themselves over the years, and we are continually tweaking our trip itineraries to get closer and closer to a “perfect” adventure for everyone who joins us. We love to travel and we have done a heck of a lot of it! We love to find the coolest places to see, hike or bike to, eat and drink at, and the coolest places to stay – above all - the best places on the planet to have a great time and a great adventure.
We love to have fun, to be active and get the very most out of our time while traveling in a way that is as cost effective as possible. And we love to take new people to the cool places we have been, to see the coolest views, shops, hotels, restaurants at those places and basically show people like you what a blast we can all have enjoying these amazing places. We are very committed to keeping the “adventure” in adventure travel and to plan and run trips which allow people to explore their limits and to challenge themselves in a safe and secure environment.
We are an eco-friendly and eco-responsible travel company - at our home office and on all of our trips. We try to use eco-friendly lodges and hotels and limit our impact on where we travel as much as possible and follow Leave No Trace practices. We give back to the communities on every trip by such things as donating clothing and money to schools and orphanages and women's shelters. For more on how we give back click here.
For this year, 2010, we are focusing on Gary's latest super-cool "find" - the amazing and outrageously beautiful Dolomites of Northeast Italy - the most enchanting mountains in the world; that's where our one week trips (saturday - Saturday) for this year will go in June and September (and early October).
