Slovenia is an amazing country. It is 65% forested, beautiful, and clean. (One can even drink water from the faucet.)
It has a very civilized feel. People are relaxed, easy going, very friendly, approachable, and most people speak good English. The vibe is relaxed and light and the pace slow and easy. People know how to relax here and they love their families and the outdoors.
Slovenia has a well-established tourist infrastructure and everything is run professionally and efficiently. Tourist areas and trails are very clean, the lakes pristine, the climate pleasant and everywhere you look there are beautiful vistas. The mountains are impressive and rugged yet accessible with walking and hiking trails for all levels of ability and interest. Slovenia boasts medieval castles on the side of cliffs, world-famous limestone caves you can walk though, crystal-clear lakes with fairy tail churches, walled cities, world-class vineyards and a countryside that will steal your heart.
With very few American tourists visiting Slovenia feels like you are really having an adventure. The country reminds me of how America was in the sixties – with families enjoying the simple things in life, lazy days at the lake with the dog, wandering around an ancient city, picnics on a riverbank, and laughing the afternoon away in a restaurant with friends and family

Right Path Adventures is excited to offer an incredible life changing adventure: a three week trek to Everest Base Camp, the launching pad for climbers attempting to summit the world’s highest peak, Mt. Everest, at 29,035 ft.
Trekking in Nepal is a unique experience that nearly anyone can accomplish. This is not a technical climb. You carry only a light day-pack as yaks or porters carry your belongings from lodge-to-lodge. Paced comfortably, you will follow primitive paths traveled by locals for centuries, view skyscraping Himalayan peaks in every direction, and meet amazing people in remote villages along the way.
Ample time is given to acclimate adventurers to altitude, experience the culture and traditions of the Sherpa people, and visit monasteries and other important landmarks along the way.
The trek takes you across suspension bridges with fantastic views, and into Sherpa villages where you will have a chance to meet and understand the local cultures. The world’s tallest mountains will be your background. And if weather permits, you’ll get a chance to spend a day at Everest’s base camp.
Start the trip and return at a beautifully restored 5 star hotel in Kathmandu. Along the way we stay in comfortable lodges, each very charming and unique. Nepali and western-style foods will be on the menu throughout the trip. You’ll never go hungry.
“Thought you would enjoy this. Hope you are all well. Think of you often and the fantastic time I had!
