We'll sail along the spectacular Croatian
coast - a gem of the Mediterranean - with a crew including a captain and a cook/hostess and escorted by adventure travel guide Gary Scott.
The
Croatian coast is widely considered to be one of the best and, until recently,
one of the least discovered cruising areas in Europe. Jacques Cousteau described the Adriatic as
“one of the cleanest oceans on earth” and it is fast becoming a charter
destination “hotspot”.
With
a wide diversity of destinations and a spectacular natural backdrop and towns
buzzing with music and nightlife – Croatia is hard to beat as a place to visit
and enjoy the fascinating culture, food, sights and people. The coastline and islands are dotted with
fishing villages, apparently unchanged for centuries, and otherwise uninhabited
islands come alive as the restaurants and café-bars open up for passing
sailors. For those wanting pace and
quiet, hideaways aplenty wait to be discovered, including remote lighthouse
inlets, fetching fishing villages, secluded coves, safe beaches and
Robinson-Crusoe-style atolls.
Croatia
has been slowly crawling its way up to the top of Europe’s culinary rungs. Its chief assets are locally sourced,
prime-quality ingredients from the land and sea which you will be able to sample. The wines of Croatia are rapidly growing in
popularity and its olive oils are earning top awards.
This is an easy and very safe motor-cruising yacht trip with usually very calm waters on the beautiful Adriatic Sea - no prior sailing experience is necessary and the crew does all the work so you are free to relax! We'll sail for 3-5 hours a day to our next town or a remote cove to explore and spend the night.
Croatia is a peaceful and friendly place that is a member of the United Nations and is poised to join the European
Union. Tourism is growing at 5% a year
with over 150,000 American’s visiting in 2010. With a mild Mediterranean climate along the
coast, which means always warm and mostly sunny, Croatia promotes itself as
“the way the Mediterranean used to be”.
You’ll explore beautiful beaches, picturesque vineyards, and nearly
pristine structures built by the Roman empire.
Limited to 8 - 10 guests, you'll have your own cabin
with attached bath on our own very cool yacht. Sailing about four hours a day you will plenty of time to explore the most
sensational islands and secret beaches and be free to hike, bike,
explore, get lost, snorkel, dive, swim, kayak, relax, eat, drink, and be merry...
We'll enjoy and hopefully adopt the Croatian attitude and way of life known as "Pomalo" which is a combination of "slowly" "easy", "no problem", "maybe tomorrow", "relax" and "have another coffee"...

Cruising on a catamaran or a "gulet" for an alternative holiday is the ideal
solution for all those who are looking for sea, relax and tasty food. A gulet
is the typical Turkish ship characterized by a strong wooden hull and a shape
that recalls ancient galleons. If you dream of a cruise dedicated to comfort
and sweet idleness, this trip is the best solution for your needs. Lunch and
dinner will be prepared and served directly on board by the crew who will look
after you offering memorable moments.
The charm of the open sea and the fascination of isolated caves
of crystalline water, the magic of the stars in a clear night sky, the
excellent and elaborate food, and the many excursions on land will be the
attractions that will make this holiday unique. Between a swim and a dive,
windsurf and canoe, you will spend a special holiday discovering unlimited
beauties of the Croatian coast. Spaces are comfortable and cosy, and you will sail up to 4 hours a day having plenty of time to dedicate to beaches,
swimming and relaxing.
