Croatian Cruise Food & Lodging

The yacht you will be sailing on depends on many factors including the group size and how many couples and singles we have on that trip. We use only the top charter companies in the world and have their support and experience if we need anything taken care of – they have been great to work with in the past and we will continue to use them. We do not try and save money with charter companies or our yacht choice, we want everyone to be safe, happy and comfortable and we strive to get the best possible yacht for our groups.

“Thank you for a stellar week enjoying the islands and villages of Croatia.” – Gina, CA

We have chartered cataramans such as a Lagoon 41 in the past with four cabins, as well as Bavaria 50 and GibSea 51 single hull yachts, which have five cabins each. All three are modern and very comfortable boats. They all have a large salon and galley area and have nice places to sit outside and enjoy the sights, the sun and the sunsets. One great thing about sailing around Croatia on our own yacht is that you don’t have to pack and unpack each day – you stay in the same cabin all week.

We board the boat at the marina in Pula, Croatia, on Saturday afternoon around 2pm and we will set sail as soon as we are ready to leave. We will be back in the marina in Pula on the next Friday evening and people can stay on the yacht that night (or get a hotel room nearby) and have breakfast on the boat on Saturday morning before departing by 9AM.

“Great food, fun, swimming, places to eat and explore, and a great group.” – Suzanne, Norway

Croatia Sailing Tours – Meals
Starting on Saturday afternoon the trip includes seven hearty and nutritious breakfasts and six lunches. Dinners are on your own at nearby restaurants, or we can cook dinner on the yacht.

Healthy, tasty and ample breakfasts and lunches will be prepared by your host Gary Scott, with help from anyone who wants to lend a hand, and there is always the option to head out to dine at a local restaurant.

Breakfast, lunches and between meal snacks and drinks are fairly casual events where people help themselves to the wide variety of foods and drinks we make available buffet style.

We hit the local farmers markets and try and buy fresh seafood from the local fishermen whenever possible. We have a great time trying different local foods, Croatian wines, the world-famous Istrian olive oils, various cold meats and fantastic cheeses from the island of Pag. We shop every day so we can vary the menu and people can put in requests for exactly what they want to eat and try.
