Another Week in Nepal – You’re Already There – Why Not See/Enjoy More?

Don’t let your adventure end with this trek, extend your stay in Nepal and experience adventures such as mountain biking around Kathmandu, exciting 1-7 day white water rafting trips, or exploring the jungles and amazing animals of Chitwan National Park.

This is an example of an 5 day add-on trip that many visitors took right after our trek.  You can do as many days and whatever activities you choose at a cost of around $200-$250 a day including all meals, hotels, private transportation, entry fees and all activities.

Day 1 – Drive from Kathmandu and enjoy an exciting half day of rafting on the Trisuli river, then head to the exotic Chitwan National Park to stay in a nice hotel and head out on a guided evening jungle walk.

Day 2 – Dug out canoe ride down the Rapti River to see crocodiles and aquatic birds and animals followed by an afternoon guided jungle walk.

Day 3 – Ride an elephant while looking for rhino’s and tigers and visit the elephant breeding group and maybe even help feed or bath an elephant.  Afternoon guided jungle walk or mountain bike ride followed by a cultural evening and dance.

Day 4 – Leave Chitwan and visit the Bindbashani Temple, the Mehandra Cave, the Seti Gorge and David Falls.  Your hotel is at Lakeside – a picturesque and relaxing spot on Pokhara Lake. Evening on your own to explore the shops, bars and restaurants.

Day 5 – See the sunrise on the nearby Himalaya from Sharakot then spend the morning in Pokhara where there is lot’s to see and do.  In the afternoon enjoy a walk, mountain bike ride, boat ride on the lake, tandem paragliding, or relax and swim.

Day 6 – Fly back to Kathmandu, fly home or stay at a five-star hotel in Kathmandu.
