![]() |
We’ve taken 8 year-old girls to 80 year-old couples on our trips, from slow and steady strollers to marathon runners and every speed in between. If you can walk around New York City or Disneyland for a day – you can handle our Dolomites Walking Tours. Want to go nice and easy – we know the perfect walks for you, want to push yourself and cover some distance – world-record-holding-mountain-guide Gary Scott can take care of you there… |
You’ll walk and explore the very best of the Italian Dolomites enjoying a wide variety of landscapes and scenery, meeting our many local friends along the way and having a lot of Dolomite photo – fun while doing it. Weekly trips range from easy to challenging and everything in between. Our guests include many singles, couples and groups of friends of all ages and abilities and we’re very good at matching like- minded folk together (with a maximum group size of eight) – so you’ll have the opportunity to have a great time and make new friends.
There is Dolomite walking options for everyone. Each day we’ll discuss options about the type of walk you feel like doing. We often use cable cars to get into the mountains quickly and to save our knees, and there is always the opportunity to do more walking at the end of each day. You’ll be able to walk at your own pace with a light daypack with time to smell the flowers, enjoy the views, and take some picture-perfect-postcard photographs to share with your friends when you return home.
“Thank you Gary for a wonderful week – it was far more than I imagined – you are a great guide.” Suzie, AZ
Great Food, Wines and Beer “Dolomites Style”
Every hour or so we’ll relax at a mountain lodge for a mid-morning coffee break. Later we’ll sit on a sunny terrace with an incredible view and enjoy an organic salad or homemade pasta, then as the hike is winding down maybe you’ll indulge in a delicious strudel and a glass of local wine or a German beer. We’ll wrap up the day and meet at a local’s pub before enjoying an incredible dinner, then, you can dream away under a down quilt in a quaint family owned inn.
