We just got back from seeing the sights in Naples and Rome, watched the sunset and shopped in Capri, we saw Paul McCarthy in concert in London and the tennis at Wimbleton – but the Dolomites was still the highlight of our trip to Europe.

Gary – thanks for a great trip. Everything, the hotels, the meals, the hiking and meeting all your friends along the way was way more than we expected. It would be very unlikely to find another trip anywhere that has anything near what you have put together. Thanks so much!

We wanted to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sharing the Dolomites with us. The mountains are beautiful – breathtaking even, and made more so by learning aspects of the culture and history you shared with us. Perhaps most special was meeting the many beautiful local people you introduced us too.

I have traveled all over the world and love to travel and have adventures. This past summer I traveled with Gary Scott to do the Tour Du Mont Blanc hike and loved it so much that a few months later I went to the Dolomites and enjoyed another Right Path Adventures trip. The Dolomites has now become my favorite part of the world.

Right Path Adventures mantra of ‘this is your trip’ gave me a very individualized trip. I could go at my own pace – alone or with others -whatever I felt like doing on any particular day.

“You have found some great places to show people in Croatia – what a fun trip.” Hege, Norway

Thank you, Gary, for a very memorable and stellar week enjoying the islands and charming coastal towns of Croatia. You have a knack for bringing people together with a common interest of savoring the sights and delights of a region, and I feel I’ve made great new friends!

I particularly love the special treats of watching the sailing regatta, swimming in remote turquoise bays and sampling the authentic seafood prepared by our skipper’s father, a long time local fisherman. These are the very things one needs a “guy on the ground” for, and I thank you for sharing your unique style of travel with me.Gina Stark, California

Beautiful nature, pristine lakes, stunning forests, alps and caves. A great place for hiking, canoeing, biking and just relaxing. A trip you will never forget! Cindy & Bob B. – California

We had a wonderful trip to Everest Base Camp with Steve in Oct/Nov 2012. Steve does a wonderful job including: Makes sure everything is where it needs to be when it needs to be there, takes a different route out then back so you get to see more of the country, lets you set your own hiking pace, and was able to get us inside different temples. Everything went extremely well. Our supporting guides were great–knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and just very nice. I would go with Steve on any trip he would offer. Thanks, Steve
Barb and Dennis March, 2013

This trip was a challenging and rewarding adventure. When my husband died in May I knew within days that I had to scatter some of his ashes at Base Camp. We had this trip planned in 2006 but had to cancel because of a travel advisory in Nepal. It was the only trip left on our “bucket list” when Dennis became ill in 2007.

When I talked to our guide Steve Tickle and told him my reason for going he was so supportive and I knew he was going to make this experience personal and memorable. He suggested I scatter some of the ashes at the Climbers’ Memorial, a very emotional place, and some at Base Camp which I did. I was able to complete our “bucket list” and it seemed like Dennis was with me every step of the way.

The trek was so much more than I expected. The sherpas and the people living in the Himalayans seem to have, though hard, a serene and happy life. I never heard a raised voice toward the children nor did I hear any child crying. They were so joyful and loved to see the “visitors” on their mountain. It seemed to me that our culture could learn some valuable lessons from them. Because their life is very primitive by our standards, having this experience will give anyone taking this trip a greater appreciation of just how blessed we are.

Thank you, Steve, for making this trip so special and for your kindness and support. I will never forget you or the mountain.
